The Marketing Help is made up of the one-two-punch of Erik Harbison and Jed Singer, two marketing veterans with a focus on modern marketing principles and a passion for developing T-Shaped Marketers.

ERIK HARBISON

Erik is passionate about making connections that enable success for the next generation of marketers and marketing talent.

He has been building marketing teams, strategies, and solutions for over 20 years in agency, SaaS, and academic environments. He has held leadership roles with award-winning agencies, such as Harmelin Media, 22 Squared, 360i, and True Action (an eBay Inc. Company). Erik was also an instrumental partner in his search engine marketing agency, directMASS, which was acquired in 2005.

Over his career, Erik has amassed a well-developed, active network with leading agency, brand, ad tech, marketing tech, start up, entrepreneurial and academic communities.

From an education standpoint, Erik serves as an guest instructor for a one-of-a-kind course on digital marketing with Drexel University. And, is lead instructor for a professional certification course with the University of Vermont.  He also guest lectures at St. Joseph's University and has given presentations at leading industry conferences and associations on topics ranging from email marketing to social media to starting a career in digital marketing. He's helped dozens of students start their marketing career journey and established marketing professionals evolve their craft, network and marketability.

JED SINGER

A natural networker, entrepreneur, and educator, Jed loves helping young marketers find their path; helping businesses hire the best marketing talent; and helping business schools stay creative and competitive.

By day, Jed serves as the Director of Digital Marketing at First Quality Enterprises, a consumer-packaged goods manufacturer. He draws from diverse experience in both B2C and B2B industries, including CPG, software, industrial manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and information technology.

In academia, Jed has designed and facilitated advanced marketing curricula at the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Temple University, LaSalle University, and University of Vermont.

Jed offers career perspectives across Marketing, Sales, and Account Management, in an array of industries, from marketing agencies, to startups, to consultancies, to "client-side" at big brands.

Nothing is more rewarding for Jed than helping someone make the right connection at the right time.
